From Compassion to Action:

Transforming Lives Through Home-Based Healthcare
Join a 90-minute virtual event to help bring healthcare access, dignity, and hope to 15,000 people in rural Kenya this Human Rights Week.

In rural Kenya, a mother carries her child toward hope — each step a reminder that access to healthcare should never depend on distance.

An Invitation Inspired by International Human Rights Week

In rural Kenya, the nearest hospital is more than 50 kilometers away — a grueling 3–4 hour journey on rough roads that many cannot physically or financially make. For 15,000 people across eight villages, accessing healthcare often means choosing between extreme hardship and going without care altogether.

Inspired by the spirit of International Human Rights Week, we invite you to join us for a special gathering to witness their story and become part of the solution.

What You’ll Experience

This isn’t a typical fundraising event. It’s a transformative 90-minute journey where you’ll:

  • Witness Moses’s powerful story through film and hear directly from him and Stephen about their community-led vision
  • Connect with healthcare philanthropist and author Donato Tramuto, who will share why community-led healthcare transforms lives
  • Learn from Valentina Pagliai (RFK Italia) about healthcare as a universal human right
  • Discover your own ability to contribute to lasting change
  • Join a movement of changemakers bridging gaps in healthcare, restoring dignity, and upholding human rights

The Impact You’ll Help Create

Currently, elders in rural Kenya often avoid seeking care due to the difficulty and high cost of the journey. Children grow up without accessible healthcare. Preventable conditions go untreated.

Your participation will help close the funding gap to:

  • Serve 15,000 people across eight villages
  • Save 200+ lives from treatable emergencies over five years
  • Provide 50,000+ patient visits
  • Create 25-30 local healthcare jobs
  • Enable 1,000+ elders to receive regular care without the travel burden

Why This Matters

“Our elders built this community. They deserve to age with dignity, to access care without suffering, to be treated as the treasures they are.” ~ Moses Amonje

Geography should not determine longevity. Together, we can change that.

Hearing Human Need

This isn’t just what we do.
We believe it’s our duty as citizens of the world. Attuned to people and the challenges they face, be it here in Maine, or across oceans, our goal is to make resources available to individuals and communities in need through collaborative partnerships.
